St Michael's and St Bernadette's Parish, Whitefield, Manchester

St Michael’s Parish Hall

Have a cuppa, chat, game of bingo and the occasional meals out.  Come along any Thursday 2 – 4pm in the Archangel Room and you will be most welcome.  If you like Bingo you’ll love us.  For further information contact Monica on 0161 766 6206.

Every Tuesday morning at 10.00am, between 12 and 18 people with a common interest in gardening meet at St Michael’s Hall.  We meet for around an hour and a half and mostly we sit, drink coffee and chat.  Sometimes, the talk is about gardening but mostly it’s about whatever is of general interest at the time.  The more energetic of us sometimes play table tennis or indoor bowls.

There is a community garden nearby on Albert Road and this gives a great opportunity for people who want to do some proper gardening to get stuck in.  Some members may only have a small garden or no garden at all and the community garden gives them plenty of scope to grow whatever they want.  There is also a large greenhouse for people to use.

More than anything, the garden club is a great opportunity for friends to get together regularly at St Michael’s and socialise.

Every Wednesday 10.15am at St Michael’s Hall, Whitefield!!!
