As we enter the holy season of Lent, our parish offers a number of opportunities to pray, reflect, and prepare our hearts for Easter. Everyone is warmly invited to take part.
Dawn Mass – Fridays of Lent
St Bernadette’s – 7.00am
Begin your Friday in the quiet of early morning with this simple, prayerful celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Stations of the Cross – Tuesday Evenings
St Bernadette’s – 6.45pm
Join us as we walk the Way of the Cross together, reflecting on Christ’s passion and love.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Silent Prayer
St Michael’s – Wednesdays after 9.30am Mass until 12 noon,
Beginning on Ash Wednesday and continuing each week until the Wednesday of Holy Week.
A peaceful space for silent prayer.
St Bernadette’s – Saturdays, 10.00am–11.30am
Concluding with Benediction.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
St Bernadette’s – Saturdays, 10.00am–11.00am
An opportunity to receive the Lord’s mercy and begin anew during this season of grace.
Personal Prayer for Lent – Walk with Me booklets, and the prayer sheet, Pray Every Day for Lent, are available at the back of each church.
A Reflective Reading of St Mark’s Gospel – The Journey in Faith/RCIA meeting on Wednesday 25th March at 7.30pm will be a reflective reading of St Mark’s Gospel. To read continuously through the Gospel (with one short break) is a powerful exercise and a great preparation for Holy Week. All welcome.
